Invona IT Business Rebrands to Fluidity

Our new brand, Fluidity, highlights our commitment to delivering a more organic and straight forward approach to IT products and services. We work closely with businesses, delivering technology and services that improve their performance and agility. We help manage and protect their systems, and we help them thrive.

Invona, an IT consultancy and managed service provider based in Brighton, has rebranded to Fluidity.

Fluidity’s unique approach and skill set in the IT industry sets us apart from competitors. We provide human-centric ways to address cyber security and compliance, while also offering specialist experience across Apple, Microsoft and Google platforms. This all places us in a strong position with some clear USPs, while also being well equipped to support most businesses.

Our Story So Far

Since Invona started back in 2013, we looked forward to creating a brand that would take on our key values and build great business culture. That’s the dream that is Invona, and it hasn’t changed. However, we wanted a brand for our IT services that spoke more about what we offer our customers.

In 2016 we began building a new brand for a small part of our Web Services to see how people responded to the concept. The response was very positive, so in 2017 we began offering some of our web services as Fluidity (trading as Fluidity).

Now, in 2020, we’re excited to have refreshed the Fluidity brand and are adopting it across all our business. This will also let Invona take on a new identity of its own, separate to our IT business.

This rebrand follows a lot of effort spent building a fresh experience of IT services that tackle some of the challenges observed in the IT industry, especially with managed service providers. Now that we’re happily operating with consistency and feel our approach has been proven enough, the time has come to take on an identity that tells everyone what we’re about.

Why Fluidity?

Fluidity is the quality of not being static but being able to flow with a continual smoothness and grace. It’s the ability to change and adapt to its environment. It feels organic and simple. It has direction and intent (okay, subject to gravity and terrain, granted). But it’s a river that ends up in the ocean, a vast and spacious place full of life!

All these characteristics or qualities excite us. Here are a few reasons why:

  • Organic. If technology is for people, we should enjoy using it, and it should work for us. Let’s make it natural to work with and a pleasure to use, like a well-designed tool. It also needs to be adaptable to our needs.

  • Simplicity. If complexity is necessary, we aim to make it simple for our customers regardless.

  • Efficient. For something to flow, it implies efficiency - an effortless movement in an intended direction (towards the ocean).

Our new brand identity communicates clearly and simply what we offer. We designed it to give people a feel for who we are and how we work. We want to cut through the noise and not overload our communications with too many products and services, which often ends up looking messy.

How do we make this happen? We group most of our products and services under these three areas:

  • Manage. Make sure you have all the expertise, products and support you need to create a well-oiled machine.

  • Protect. Cyber security and compliance isn’t optional, but neither should it be the end of our efforts. We take care of both.

  • Thrive. Well now, this is what we all want isn’t it? But even if our goal is to create rest for ourselves, time with friends and family, or another greater outcome, our technology should help us thrive so that we can achieve those things.

We started operating fully as the new brand on Monday 28th September, and we’re launching the new more publicly today, the 1st October 2020.
